Technological development has enabled us to print out packaging samples before producing the printout on the flexographic printer.
The printouts are made using Epson Proof® ink technology. This technology allows us to make a sample copy including CMYK as well as all additional colors from the PANTONE® template.
Epson guarantees that the printers from the Epson Stylus Pro 4900 series can deliver 98% of all colors from the PANTONE® template.
It of utmost importance that the flexographic printouts are simulated in a true and repeatable manner, which is why we use the modern GMG COLOR PROOF® system. It is based on individual ICC profiles; their use guarantees full color control and photorealistic printouts of highest quality.
Our GMG COLOR PROOF® system includes the GMG FLEXO PROOF® module, which enables test printouts with screen dot simulation. This allows the Client to view the print dots and to assess the colors of the design prepared for a given flexographic printer. Additionally, the software enables the simulation of various printing substrates (PP, PE, coated paper, etc.).
